Coverage

What we cover, how deeply, and what we don’t claim. Counts inside the app describe stored sources, not the entire podcast market.

Full coverage

Transcript and a list of ads. Search, alerts, ad lists and campaign checks all use it.

Transcript only

Searchable, and alerts read it. There is no ad list, so ads can’t be checked there.

Which shows

EarWitness covers the shows in its collection. It is not every podcast, and a missing result says nothing about shows outside it.

Episodes with gaps

Some episodes are not screened yet, some stopped partway at a named step, and some have only their title and date. Each is labelled on its page.

Stored sources, not the market

Every count in the workspace counts records the collection holds: episodes, passages, and observations from fetched sources. These numbers say nothing about podcasts outside the collection.

No result is not absence

A search with no matches establishes only that nothing matching was found in the covered collection. It does not establish that no brand mention exists anywhere.

Unknown dates stay visible

Sources without a known publication date are labeled with their unknown date whenever no date restriction is active. They are not silently dropped and not silently grouped with dated results.

Later recordings can change

Dynamic insertion can change later recordings: a source fetched again later may carry different bytes and a new revision. Saved pins keep their captured revision; the current transcript may differ.

What we don’t claim

We don’t report reach, listens, spend, revenue or accuracy scores. A timestamp is where something was heard in one episode file; listeners may hear different ads.

No fixture counts quoted

Historical fixture or evaluation counts are not current quality claims and are not quoted here. Treat any number you see in the workspace as a stored-collection count with its displayed scope and revision.
